I have just turned in a bit of work that has been seriously occupying my time and my mind these past months. I am ready to roll and start to made some definitive head-way now! I have a ton of ceramics and am organizing a cultural event where I can showcase them. More details coming soooon!

How do I put this nicely? Cote D’Ivoire was a big pain in my ass. I think so because, the conditions were so challenging than what I’m used to, and there was nothing I could do to change that. If Cote D’Ivoire were a
test of my stamina I think I passed, however my attitude I’d give a D-.

Energy, Energy, Energy

WOW! Made it out of Cote D'Ivoire, after nine straight days of no electricity in Bouake or Abidjan, making the last leg of our stay there extremely difficult. I have lots to share, and just wanted to give a quick hello. Some of my posts may come out of order of date, but wanted to share a little while I have some time having found a place with Internet.

Journey on Rebel Road

We covered a lot of ground in Cote D’ Ivoire, going from Abidjan to Bouake, Bouake back to Abidjan, and then a short stop in Man en route to Guinea. Entering the Western part of the country, near Man, I knew we
had entered new territory by the way the soldiers approached our vehicle.
Instead of paved roads and government soldiers, in these parts there are rebel
soldiers, and they control the Western countryside of back roads and forest
